Job summary

PeerLink Medical, a URAC-accredited Independent Review Organization, seeks board-certified toxicologists to join our nationwide panel as independent contractors. This fully remote, part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the ability to review cases from anywhere in the U.S.

You will conduct evidence-based medical reviews and generate reports in alignment with guidelines. Ideal candidates maintain an active US medical license (California license a plus) and practice at least 20 hours per

Qualifications

• Board certification in toxicology.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license; CA license preferred.
• Clinical practice 20+ hours/week.
• Experience in peer review or utilization review is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are currently expanding our panel and seeking board-certified physicians that specialize in toxicology who are interested in remote, flexible, part-time work as independent contractors. You’ll play a vital role in shaping fair and evidence-based healthcare determinations.

What You Will Do

• Conduct independent, evidence-based medical reviews and utilization reviews.
• Review patient records and related documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines.
• Provide objective, high-quality reports within turnaround timelines.
• Maintain compliance with URAC, HIPAA, and internal quality standards.

Who We Are Looking For

• Active board certification in toxicology.
• Current, unrestricted U.S. state medical license. California licensure preferred.
• Engaged in clinical practice 20 hours/week or more.
• Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred but not required.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.
• Comfortable working independently and using online review platforms.
