A renowned veterinary care provider in Soquel, CA, is looking for a Board Certified or Residency Trained Internist to join their compassionate team. This role offers exceptional earning potential with a base salary of $250,000—$275,000 USD, plus sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should have a veterinary degree, completed internship, and residency, along with excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• May include some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Some tasks involve periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work.
• Position does require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Client communication and education
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Pharmacy duties such as prescribing medications
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Work with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities
• Evaluate protocols for daily hospital operation
• Monitor cases in the hospital and attend daily rounds
• Participate in practice management updates and training
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Education

Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD)

1-year rotational internship in small animal medicine

Completed a 3-year AVMA approved residency program
