One of our clients is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide services in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity
- Have you been supervised by a BCBA?
- Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) - Worked under the direct supervision of a licensed or certified Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professional.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Provide 1:1 intervention in a facility setting with children and adolescents with severe emotional challenges.
- Provide behavioral intervention and crisis management for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to contribute to the child's treatment plan.
- Monitor behaviors by documenting and redirecting challenging behaviors.
Required Experience & Education
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in behavioral health services.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Behavioral Health).
- Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field with one (1) year of full-time paid experience working with children or adolescents.
- Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA).
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Certification as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT).
- Previous verifiable work experience as a Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) in PA.
Required Documents
- Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal background checks.
- Current medical/health documents including physical examination and Tuberculosis (TB) test.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Covid Vaccine Card.
