Job summary

Mindfully Behavioral Health in the United States is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who also serves as collaborating physician. The role will supervise up to 5 nurse practitioners and may provide psychiatric services to patients, with a remote/hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Ohio license to practice medicine (MD, DO).
• Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
• Strong preference for specialty areas such as children/adolescents, SUD recovery, geriatrics, or disabilities.
• Comfortable with a 1099 position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 5 nurse practitioners and collaborate with PMHNPs and counselors.
• Prescribe and manage medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on patient diagnoses and history.
• Review and sign off on patient charts and treatment plans as required by state regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to nurse practitioners in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews.
