Aufgaben

• Staff psychiatrists are responsible for all aspects of psychiatric care.
• Provide or assist residents and nurse practitioners in evaluation and treatment of psychiatric patients.
• Document care in the EHR, typically via staff progress notes.
• Cosign resident notes and supervise on a scheduled basis.
• Assess substance use disorders and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled, including nights/weekends/holidays.
• May be involved in inpatient/outpatient care, education, and research as appropriate.
