Job summary

Atrius Health in Boston's Copley Square area seeks a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our established outpatient primary care practice. You’ll provide comprehensive care for adults in a collaborative, physician-led setting with strong team support.

The role emphasizes longer appointment times, quality outcomes, and a value-based care model, with access to advanced EMR and population health tools. MA license and DEA/MCSR eligibility required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR) or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of outpatient primary care experience.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct preventive care visits and wellness screenings.
• Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with specialists and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Promote patient engagement, education, and shared decision-making.
• Utilize population health and quality metrics to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
