Job summary

Georgia Primary Care Association is seeking a Medical Doctor to provide and manage direct health care for a specified patient population in person in Quitman, GA. The role includes supervising medical students and residents, coordinating care with nursing staff, and following established policies and safety standards.

Requirements include an MD with 3–5 years of related experience, board certification or eligibility, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• MD required with 3 to 5 years of directly related experience including residency in a related medical specialty.
• Board certified or Board Eligible in specified area of medical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct patient care including exams, evaluations, and treatment.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and to relevant care components.
• Supervise medical students and residents in specialty activities.
• Coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
• Follow established policies, quality and safety standards.
• Participate in health promotion and education programs.
