Job summary

Orange Park Foot Solutions LLC in Orange Park, FL is seeking a skilled Pedorthist to join our team. You will evaluate foot conditions, design and fit custom orthotics and therapeutic footwear, and collaborate with physicians to improve mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Pedorthics (C.Ped) required or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Experience in fitting and fabricating custom foot orthotics and therapeutic footwear
• Knowledge of foot pathologies, biomechanics, and diabetic foot care
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Experience with insurance billing and coding for durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' foot conditions and assess biomechanical needs to recommend appropriate footwear and orthotic devices
• Design, fabricate, fit, and modify custom foot orthotics and therapeutic footwear
• Collaborate with physicians, podiatrists, and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive patient care plans
• Educate patients on proper footwear selection, orthotic use, and foot care best practices
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
• Stay current with industry trends, new products, and advancements in pedorthic care
• Manage inventory of footwear, orthotic materials, and related supplies
