Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware is seeking a Board-certified or Board-eligible Pediatric Intensivist to join our 24-32 bed PICU. The role includes daytime clinical service, nighttime call, and leading patient management and education of residents and trainees.

Collaboration with nursing and allied staff ensures a family-centered care approach. Academic interests in research, informatics, quality improvement, education, advocacy, or administration are encouraged to complement clinical

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine completed or in progress.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Daytime clinical service in the pediatric ICU with in-house nighttime call responsibilities.
• Direct management of patients with complex critical illnesses.
• Educational roles including residents and fellows in a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to maintain family-centered care.
