Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Dubuque, Iowa is seeking a full-time board-certified/eligible pathologist trained in both anatomic and clinical pathology to join our collegial group.

No subspecialty required though cytopathology training is viewed favorably; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Part-time status will be considered.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE in pathology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in clinical lab management and committees.
• Cytopathology training viewed favorably; subspecialty training not required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Join a collegial group and provide medical directorship for two hospitals.
• Oversee pathology services for community hospitals and clinics.
• Handle a caseload including ~14,000 surgical cases and cytology volumes.
• Participate in tumor boards and hospital committees.
