Job summary
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician for Thomson, GA to provide high-quality, compassionate outpatient care. This 40+ hour week includes a Monday–Friday schedule with outpatient call sharing within the Primary Care group and Epic EMR training to maximize efficiency.
Candidates may be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or Med-Ped; fellowship training is welcome.
Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics or Med-Ped.
- Fellowship training will be considered.
- American and international medical graduates welcomed.
- Visa sponsorship may be available for 2027 start dates.
- EMR is Epic with thorough training.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care in a 40+ hour work week (Mon–Fri).
- Average 25–30 patients per day with high-quality care.
- Share outpatient call with other physician providers.
- Procedures include joint injections, minor dermatology and office-based procedures.
- Full subspecialty support available in Augusta, GA.
