Stony Brook Gynecology & Obstetrics - OB/GYN in Setauket, NY seeks a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join a busy private practice supported by Stony Brook Medicine. The role includes hospitalist duties and collaboration with a team of specialists to provide comprehensive care in a long Island setting.

The ideal candidate is board certified in OB/GYN, holds NYS licensure, and has experience in group practice. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Active NYS medical licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care as team leader in diagnosis and treatment.
• Take medical histories, perform exams, order tests.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients on conditions and self-management.
• Prescribe medications and document in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and shadowing learners.
• Share night and weekend call with other physicians.
