Job summary

Dane Street is expanding our physician panel with a board-certified neurologist to join our team for Independent Medical Record Reviews. This fully remote opportunity offers flexible scheduling and allows you to accept or decline cases based on your availability as an independent contractor (1099).

Our physician panel consists of independent reviewers, compensated on a per-case basis, with a focus on objective medical evaluations, medical necessity, utilization review, and claims support.

Qualifications

Board certification in neurology
Prior experience with medical record reviews, IMEs, or peer reviews preferred
Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities

Responsibilities

Thorough review and analysis of prepared medical records
Provide expert, advisory-only opinions regarding the claimant’s current condition and potential future medical needs
Respond to clinical questions to support claims management
Deliver clear, well-supported written reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days
No face-to-face interaction with claimants; this is a record-review–only role
