Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Neurologist to join a well-established Nassau County practice. The role offers a lucrative salary range and flexible hours with no on-call requirements.

The successful candidate will be board-certified or eligible in Neurology, licensed to practice in New York, and capable of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team. EMR proficiency and leadership potential are valued.

Qualifications

• Active board certification in Neurology or board-eligible with a clear path to certification.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive gastroenterology care.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments including history taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic data.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group managing a high-volume, diverse patient population and a full-scope GI practice.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, motility disorders, and biliary diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacological interventions and lifestyle modifications.
• Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures (e.g., colonoscopies and EGDs) to ensure early detection and management of GI pathologies.
• Maintain accurate EMRs to support clinical workflow and patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers.
• Promote preventive health strategies, especially colorectal cancer screening and chronic liver disease management.
• Participate in ongoing medical education and clinical practice improvement to maintain high GI care standards.
