Job summary

77 consultants seeks a Locum Anesthesiologist to provide perioperative anesthesia care in a dynamic Vancouver, WA-area medical practice. This on-site contract role involves collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe anesthesia administration and patient monitoring.

The Associate-level position requires MD/DO, valid license, and board certification or eligibility. Spinals/epidurals, 1:4 care team, and Epic EMR are noted. Travel and expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Associate-level experience in Anesthesiology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the jurisdiction.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Strong clinical skills in anesthesia administration.
• Excellent decision-making under pressure and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures.
• Monitor vitals and adjust anesthesia levels.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and review medical histories.
• Collaborate with surgeons and staff to plan anesthesia care.
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and pain control.
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when needed.
