Board-Certified Gastroenterologist Hospitalist needed for
St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY
Catholic Health (CH) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible GI Hospitalist for St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. St. Charles Hospital has earned their third consecutive “A” with Leap Frog Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction that recognizes the outstanding achievements of hospitals in protecting patients from preventable harm and errors.
The ideal candidate is trained in all aspects of Gastroenterology and has excellent interpersonal skills.Duties will include inpatient care of GI disorders.This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a collegial, patient-centered, respected health system serving a diverse population and treating a variety of GI disorders.

Salary Range: $550,000-$650,000K
Requirements include:
- BC/BE Gastroenterology
- NYS Licensed MD/DO
- Fellowship Training Preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of patient safety and participate in performance improvement
