West Physics has an immediate opening for a Board-Certified Diagnostic Medical Physicist based near Fort Myers, FL. The role requires a solid clinical background in medical physics, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to work independently or on project teams.

Travel for assignments may be required. The successful candidate will join a nationwide team of over 130 physicists and contribute to QA, accreditation, and consulting services across MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Medical Physics or a physics-related discipline (Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, etc.).
• At least 3 years of documented experience in diagnostic imaging/clinical environment.
• Board certification in ABR Diagnostic Physics or Radiological Physics, ABMP Medical Health Physics, or CCPM Licensure (or Part II passing candidates).
• MQSA approved (highly preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical physics QA, testing, and consulting for MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and some nuclear medicine.
• Deliver accreditation services and data review for MRI, CT, NM/PET, US, and mammography.
• Perform dosimetry reviews, dose estimates, and ALARA reviews; conduct shielding design and verification.
• Assist with diagnostic radiology equipment testing and participate in RSNA activities as needed.
• Travel up to 5 days per month for consulting assignments.
