Job summary

Solano County Family Health Services seeks a Clinic Physician (Board Certified) to deliver direct medical services across clinics in Fairfield, Vacaville, and Vallejo, including occupational health programs. The role emphasizes maintaining board certification and staying current with clinical guidelines to serve diverse, underserved populations.

Applicants must hold a MD/DO, California license, and board certification recognized by AMA or AOA; travel within the county is required.

Qualifications

Experience: Some professional level experience performing responsible patient evaluations and treatment of clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Education/Training: A Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy; additional education or training in public health services, public administration and/or clinic management desirable.
Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of California issued by the Board of Medical Examiners.
Possession of a valid certification by a specialty board recognized by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
Independent travel will be required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct medical services for Health and Social Services Department clients.
Maintain certification and stay versed in clinical guidelines.
Handle programmatic, clinical, and administrative responsibilities.
Work across multiple clinics and hours as needed.
