This role includes conducting assessments, training staff in behavior intervention strategies, providing crisis support, and ensuring regulatory compliance while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for individuals with behavioral concerns or those requiring updated plans.Develop individualized, function-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).Participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings.Train staff on Behavior Support Plans and foundational behavioral intervention practices.Provide crisis support, including on-site response and hands-on coaching during behavioral episodes.Ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies related to behavioral services.RequirementsActive Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Tennessee.Meets BCBA educational requirements, including:Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.Completion of Verified Course Sequence (VCS) or equivalent BACB-approved coursework.Completion of supervised fieldwork per BACB standards.Preferred: 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certification required within 60 days of hire.
