Job summary

Accurate ABA in Baltimore, MD is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our supportive team. You will conduct FBAs, design, implement and monitor BIPs, supervise staff, and collaborate with families to generalize skills across environments.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the BACB.
  • Maryland License.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a behavior analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other assessments to identify the function of behavior and develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on ABA principles.
  • Supervise and provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians, therapists, and other staff members involved in implementing BIPs.
  • Continuously monitor client progress by collecting and analyzing data, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and professionals to ensure consistency and generalization across environments.
  • Provide monthly parent training.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in ABA and incorporate new techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special needs. This role has growth potential and is integral to improving the lives of individuals and their families through evidence-based interventions and supportive collaboration. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and overseeing the implementation of ABA programs. You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency, measurable progress and the generalization of skills across environments.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Key Responsibilities:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Maryland License.

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a behavior analyst, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
