As a Master Trainer, you'll deliver Safety-Care training programs, preparing trainers within schools, healthcare settings, and human services organizations to teach evidence-based strategies for managing challenging behaviors. You'll extend our impact by ensuring best practices in safety, care, and de-escalation techniques reach more professionals nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-day, in-person Safety-Care training sessions for professionals in various settings
  • Engage audiences using interactive Train-the-Trainer methods
  • Travel extensively across the U.S.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing questions and concerns
  • Participate in product demos, webinars, and industry events to support sales and marketing
  • Refine and develop training materials for effectiveness
  • Maintain BCBA certification and stay updated on ABA advancements

Location & Travel:

This role is primarily remote when not traveling. Trainers should be based within one hour of Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).

Requirements:

  • BCBA certification with 3-5+ years in training, consulting, or working with challenging behaviors
  • Experience in autism, psychiatric, brain injury rehabilitation, or related settings
  • Strong skills in handling high-intensity behaviors, including physical management
  • Willingness to travel extensively (30 weeks/year, including weekends)
  • Ability to physically demonstrate safety techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual tools

Education & Certifications:

  • Master's Degree in ABA or related field
  • Active BCBA certification or within six months of eligibility

Annual Salary: $88,000 - $98,000 plus bonus and annual COLA increase.
