Job summary

CHOP-Soar Autism Center is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our interdisciplinary team in Pennsylvania. The BCBA will plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for young children, conduct multidisciplinary assessments, and design ES DM-based services in a center-based setting.

You will work with speech, OT, psychology, and mental health colleagues, monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and coach families to achieve meaningful goals.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in ABA, special education or related field required.
  • Active BCBA certification required.
  • LBS license in PA required.
  • ABA early intervention experience required.
  • Background in child development or early childhood education preferred.
  • Demonstrates CHOP-Soar Autism Center core values and professional communication.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for children aged 2–6 in a center-based setting.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with other clinical teams.
  • Design and implement services based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
  • Collaborate with speech, OT, psychology, and mental health teams.
  • Monitor progress, update plans, and communicate changes to families and team.
  • Coach families to develop goals and support them throughout the journey.

Job description

CHOP-Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Our care model integrates multiple disciplines, including ABA, speech, occupational therapy, and mental health services, with a focus on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) — a play-based form of ABA therapy. We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to grow our interdisciplinary team in Pennsylvania.

What You'll Do
  • The BCBA will plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (speech, OT, ABA, psychology)
  • Design and implement services based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). a play-based form of therapy
  • Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team including speech, occupational therapy, and mental health services
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey
What You Have
  • Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Active BCBA Certification through the BACB
  • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in Pennsylvania
  • ABA early intervention experience
  • Preferred candidates have a background in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
