Job summary

Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics in Maryland, bringing a model refined in Colorado and Arizona to a community where early team members will shape local operations and care.

You will work with a play-based ABA model grounded in ESDM, delivering center-based therapy to children ages 2-6, with strong clinical leadership support and ongoing onboarding and training.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in ABA or related field.
  • Current BCBA certification and Maryland license.
  • ABA early intervention experience.
  • Preferred background in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for young children (ages 2–6) in a center-based setting.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with other clinical teams.
  • Design and implement services based on Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
  • Collaborate with speech, OT, ABA, psychology, and medical services; monitor progress and update goals.
  • Partner with families to develop goals, communicate progress, and coach them on the journey.

Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that help them thrive. As we expand into the Maryland region, we are entering a new chapter of that journey by bringing a model refined across multiple markets into a community where early team members will play a defining role. This includes experience from our work in Colorado and Arizona, along with our recent joint venture with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape how a Soar center operates locally, practice and learn clinical approach alongside leadership, and build a culture rooted in collaboration, high expectations, and meaningful impact.

You will be supported by the systems, training, and clinical model we have developed over time. We prioritize early intervention, integrated care, and a play-based ABA model grounded in the Early Start Denver Model, meeting the needs of each unique child and family.

Compensation And Role Design
  • Base pay: $86,000.00 - $113,500.00/year. Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800. Additional compensation beyond the range for achieving clinical certifications.
  • Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign on bonus, based on start date and location.
  • Caseload: 7-9 children per BCBA, designed for depth and quality of care
  • Hybrid: 1 work-from-home day per week for each BCBA, with some opportunity for 2 work-from-home days, depending on center maturity, clinical needs, and team coordination.

What You'll Do
  • The BCBA will plan, oversee, deliver, and adapt naturalistic therapy for young children ages 2-6 years old in a center-based setting
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (speech, OT, ABA, psychology, and medical services)
  • Design and implement services based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). a play-based form of therapy
  • Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team including speech, occupational therapy, and mental health services
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey
What You Have
  • Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification and active Maryland BCBA license
  • ABA early intervention experience
  • Preferred candidates have a background in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
