Job summary

Bancroft is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to lead assessment and treatment in our CSA programs in Camden/Burlington Counties, NJ. This exempt, in-person role involves directing behavior plans, supervising ABA staff, and collaborating with a large multidisciplinary team.

The BCBA will oversee clinical case reviews, engage families and funders, and contribute to research and professional development within Bancroft's ABA Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA or related field is required or preferred.
  • BCBA certification is required or preferred.
  • NJ licensure is required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads development and implementation of behavior plans including functional behavior assessments and treatment evaluations.
  • Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
  • Identifies training needs and conducts trainings for ongoing knowledge on behavior plans.
  • Oversees admission, transition, and discharge processes for cases.
  • Coordinates clinical case review meetings to ensure data-driven discussions.
  • Acts as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
  • Supervises ABA Specialists and provides direct clinical supervision.

Bancroft is actively seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center of Excellence; a team of approximately 50 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs/BCBA-Ds) providing services across our organization. We work together to treat challenging behavior, build skills and have the ability to collaborate with a large group of like-minded clinicians.

We are looking for a Behavior Analyst, BCBA, for our Community Services for Adults (CSA) programs located in Camden and Burlington Counties, NJ (an easy commute from Philadelphia). CSA serves adults, primarily with ASD and related diagnoses, who may experience a variety of behavioral challenges. The programs provide community-based residential, day habilitation, and employment services across the two counties. Services are provided within structured day programs, community volunteer and employment sites, group homes or apartment settings. The BCBA will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team including operations, behavioral, medical, and therapeutic services as well as families and funders. The BCBA will direct the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within this framework. The BCBA will serve in a leadership and supervisory role, managing ABA Specialists (often BCBAs in training) while also conducting direct clinical work.

Responsibilities

  1. Leads the development and implementation of behavior plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.
  2. Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
  3. Identifies training needs and develops and conducts those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.
  4. Conducts/oversees team screening admission evaluations and intake assessments; oversees the admission, transition, and discharge processes.
  5. Coordinates and leads clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons’ served.
  6. Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  7. Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
  8. Serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
  • BCBA certification required. New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.
  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred. Prior management experience is also preferred.
  • Though NJ licensure is a requirement, candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.
