Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide education-based therapy services in El Paso, TX for the School Year at Harmony School of Science Middle/High.

The role involves direct and indirect ABA support for approximately 20 students on caseload with about 200 minutes per student every 9 weeks, conducting FBAs and implementing BIPs, and collaborating with teachers and families to foster social skills and classroom participation.

Qualifications

• BCBA State Certification required.
• Experience in school-based ABA settings preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Location Of Services: Harmony School of Science Middle/High (El Paso)
• Hours Per Week: 20 students on caseload, 200 Minutes Per Student Every 9 Weeks
• Dates of Contract: Fall/Spring Semester
• Additional: In-person, approximately 20 students needing direct support with social skills and behavior through individual and small-group sessions, based on their identified needs. Approximately 200 min per student every 9 weeks .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other comprehensive assessments to identify students’ behavioral, social, and learning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs) aligned with each student’s goals.
• Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to improve communication, adaptive skills, social interactions, and school participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate behavioral strategies into classroom and educational activities.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear data-driven reports and recommendations to support student success.
• Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing data collection and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, data records, and compliance reports.
• Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) through research, supervision, and professional development.
