Job summary

Blossom ABA Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to lead individualized, ethical, and family-centered ABA care in Virginia Beach. You will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, supervise staff, monitor progress, and partner with caregivers to support meaningful outcomes.

The BCBA will ensure assessments, ongoing plan updates, data-driven decisions, and compliant documentation while coordinating with schools and providers for comprehensive care.

Qualifications

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing.
  • VA LBA.
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Experience developing treatment plans and supervising RBTs or BTs.
  • Strong clinical judgment, data analysis, communication, and organization.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, reassessments, and clinically necessary program updates.
  • Analyze data and adjust programming based on client progress and treatment integrity.
  • Supervise and train RBTs and BTs using practical, timely feedback.
  • Provide caregiver guidance and coordinate care with appropriate providers and school teams.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation that meets clinical, payer, and organizational requirements.
  • Support authorization requests, utilization reviews, and other clinical documentation needs.
  • Manage assigned caseload responsibilities while communicating barriers and risks early.
  • Follow BACB ethics requirements and all applicable state licensure rules.
