Overview
As a BCBA with Little Leaves, you will:
Supervising Behavior Analysts manage and oversee ABA therapy services for children with developmental delays, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, supervising therapists, staff training, and working with families. BCBA or BCBA-D certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments
- Develop and modify individualized ABA treatment plans
- Perform Functional Behavior Assessments and create Behavior Intervention Plans
- Oversee treatment implementation and supervise staff
- Collaborate with the child's team, family, and other professionals
- Train families and caregivers
- Provide ongoing staff training
- Maintain client records and reports
- Create support materials
- Provide BCBA supervision (training provided)
- Ensure policy compliance
Qualifications
Desired qualifications include:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or related field
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D)
- At least 5 years of experience with children with developmental delays or Autism
- Experience with assessments like ABLLS or VB-MAPP
- Experience developing treatment plans and monitoring progress
- Supervision and staff training experience
- Experience working with families
- Knowledge of Skinner’s verbal operants and naturalistic teaching
- Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and caseload management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to BACB ethics
- Proven success in previous roles
- Technologically proficient and enthusiastic
