Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead and supervise behavioral assessment and intervention programs. Qualifications

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., ABLLS, VB-MAPP, Vineland II-R) and functional assessment measures.
  2. Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior intervention plans based on functional assessment data.
  3. Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented to collect quantifiable behavioral data regularly for evaluating behavior plans and progress towards goals.
  4. Teaches Consultants and Behavior Therapists on implementing educational and clinical behavior programs, data collection, and monitoring systems.
  5. Conducts caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation.
  6. Oversees individual program implementation and conducts supervision meetings with staff.
  7. Reports to the clinical director on client progress and issues.
  8. Completes documentation timely and accurately as required.
  9. Manages staffing schedules and maintains billable caseloads.
  10. Develops reports with behavior recommendations for stakeholders.
  11. Participates in staff hiring and case assignment decisions.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Promotes BASS outreach efforts.
  2. Responds promptly to service referrals.
  3. Participates in professional development activities.
  4. Aligns with BASS mission, vision, and values.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Master’s in behavior analysis, Psychology, special education, social work, speech-language Pathology, or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • BCBA certification and/or licensed professional.
  • Minimum three years’ experience with individuals with ASDs and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analytic interventions and experience delivering services.
  • Experience in staff training and supervision.
  • Proficiency with ABA program development, behavior reduction protocols, skills acquisition procedures (DTT, NET), and staff training.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with multitasking ability.
  • Team player.
