Job summary
Children's Specialized ABA in New Jersey is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support children with ASD through evidence-based ABA therapies. The role features hybrid in-clinic and remote supervision with a focus on assessment, BIP design, and family coaching.
The BCBA will supervise BTs/RBTs, manage data-driven treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance client outcomes and family empowerment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current BCBA certification is required.
- Completion of BCBA supervision training is required.
- LBA license in NJ is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments (FBAs and skills assessments) to identify target behaviors.
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment outcomes.
- Design, implement, and adjust ABA-based treatment programs.
- Train and supervise BTs/RBTs and other team members on intervention strategies.
- Monitor client progress toward goals and update plans as needed.
- Ensure accurate data collection for all target behaviors and objectives.
- Analyze data to guide clinical decisions and ensure effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing training and support to families and caregivers.
- Collaborate with physicians, educators, and therapists for holistic care.
- Communicate updates and recommendations to families.

We’re looking for a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who’s ready to make a difference. You’ll use evidence-based ABA practices to support children and families—and we’ll support you right back.
Enjoy fully paid medical insurance (yep, no cost to you for employee-only coverage), $700 device stipend, and a low billable hour requirement of just 20/week. You’ll have the chance to boost your earnings with an additional $80-$90/hour bonus for any hours billed beyond your weekly goal.
You’ll enjoy a hybrid schedule, splitting your time between remote billable work (like family guidance and treatment planning) and in-clinic collaboration and supervision. You’ll provide a minimum of 10% in-person supervision per client, with travel up to 30 miles for client sessions and parent training as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and reassessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments, to identify target behaviors.
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment outcomes.
- Design, implement, and modify treatment programs grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Train and supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other team members on intervention strategies.
- Monitor client progress toward treatment goals and adjust plans as needed to improve outcomes.
- Ensure consistent, accurate data collection for all target behaviors and treatment objectives.
- Analyze treatment data regularly to guide clinical decision-making and ensure effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing training and support to families, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders in behavioral strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and therapists, to support holistic care.
- Communicate regularly with families to share updates, address behavioral challenges, and offer actionable recommendations.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Completion of BCBA supervision training

Base salary range: $92,000 - $102,000
Total compensation potential (including bonus): $123,600
Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $92,000 - $102,000 per year. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and experience equity.
