Job summary

Achieve Beyond in the Northern VA/Metro DC area is hiring a Fee For Service, Hourly BCBA to conduct assessments for children with ASD, design behavior plans, and set measurable goals for therapists and caregivers.

This role requires BCBA and LBA credentials, a Master’s degree in a relevant field, supervision experience, travel to cases, and a commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA; compensation depends on experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services or Psychology.
  • BCBA and LBA credentials are required.
  • Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient/professional.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments for children with ASD and create goals with caregivers.
  • Design behavior intervention plans.
  • Create measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers.
  • Provide at least 10% direct supervision of therapists and give feedback.
  • Review session notes for assigned therapists.
  • Analyze data and implement data-driven changes.
  • Ensure progress is generalized with active caregiver participation.
  • Conduct reassessments at least twice per year and summarize progress.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and communicate with parents and staff.
  • Ensure programs lead to independence and happiness.

Now Hiring: Fee For Service, Hourly Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
LOCATION: Positions available throughout Northern VA & Metro DC area
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans
  • Design behavior intervention plans
  • Create functional specific, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
  • Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases, incorporating behavioral skills training and specific performance feedback while ensuring clinical integrity of the programs.
  • Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists
  • Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes
  • Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy through specific goals, training sessions, and communication.
  • Conduct reassessments at least twice per year while summarizing data and progress for each client supervised
  • Regular communication with parents, behavioral therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office is required
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations).
  • Ensure that all programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness!(services, programs, schedule, staff, etc.)
Requirements

Must have a passion for ABA and working with children, families, and therapists!

  • Master's Degree in (Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, Psychology).
  • BCBA and LBA REQUIRED
  • Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • The ability to climb and descend staircases
  • The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
  • The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
