Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a Fee For Service, Hourly Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Virginia/Northern VA team. You will conduct assessments for children with ASD, design behavior plans, and set measurable goals for therapists and caregivers.

The role includes supervision, data analysis, and regular progress reviews, with emphasis on collaboration with families to support independence and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
• BCBA and LBA are required.
• Minimum of one year ABA client/teacher field supervision.
• Self-motivated, a team player, and patient/professional.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and collaborate with caregivers to create goals and treatment plans.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavior therapists with performance feedback.
• Clinically review session notes for assigned behavior therapists.
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes.
• Ensure progress is generalized with active caregiver participation.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year and summarize progress.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.
• Ensure programs lead to independence and happiness for clients.

LOCATION: Positions available throughout Northern VA & Metro DC area

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans
• Design behavior intervention plans
• Create functional specific, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases, incorporating behavioral skills training and specific performance feedback while ensuring clinical integrity of the programs.
• Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy through specific goals, training sessions, and communication.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year while summarizing data and progress for each client supervised
• Regular communication with parents, behavioral therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office is required
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations).
• Ensure that all programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness!(services, programs, schedule, staff, etc.)

Requirements

Must have a passion for ABA and working with children, families, and therapists!

• Master's Degree in (Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, Psychology).
• BCBA and LBA REQUIRED
• Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to climb and descend staircases
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
