Job summary

Port View Preparatory, an ABA-focused educational setting, seeks a Clinical Classroom Support Specialist to assist in behavior assessment and the design of Intervention Plans. You will help collect data, prepare progress reports, and participate in meetings with the CSP team onsite.

The role includes training Classroom Support Providers and collaborating with BCBAs, therapists, and educators to support students with autism and developmental disorders.

Qualifications

• Coursework in Child Development, Psychology, Behavior Analysis.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BACB) in good standing.
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, clinical supervision, and with autism and related disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in applying ABA principles to assess student behavior.
• Support design and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of School Administration, the Clinical Classroom Support Specialist (CCSS) is responsible for assisting in the assessment of student behavior using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as supporting the design and implementation of student Behavior Intervention Plans. The Clinical Classroom Support Associate will evaluate data to assess progress, prepare documentation and reports, and participate in collaborative meetings as needed. The Clinical Classroom Support Associate is also responsible for training employees (Classroom Support Providers) in accordance with the CSP job description.

Qualifications

• Coursework in Child Development, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, and/or related courses.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB
• Prior experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, clinical supervision, and experience with individuals with autism and related developmental disorders required.
