Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a BCBA Team Coordinator to support the Autism Birth to Three Program in Connecticut. The role includes designing short-term goals based on family priorities, monitoring student progress and reviewing data to ensure successful outcomes.

Service locations include Stamford and surrounding towns with a flexible schedule for full-time hours. Candidates must hold an active BCBA license and have experience with Autism in early intervention, ESDM and Natural Learning

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active BCBA license issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • Knowledge of Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and related strategies.
  • Experience in Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport with children, families and team members to promote a healthy learning environment.
  • Track and analyze data, monitor progress and review treatment plans.
  • Coach staff for effective implementation of teaching techniques.
  • Coordinate quarterly team meetings and participate in Birth to Three trainings.

Overview

Benchmark Human Services is a leading provider of services for intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health. As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Team Coordinator, you will support families and team members in the Autism Birth to Three Program through direct and indirect services. You will design short-term goals and objectives based on family priorities and assessments, monitor child progress, review data collection and evaluate treatment plans to ensure successful outcomes. Service locations include Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, and Stamford. Flexible schedule (minimum 20 direct service hours for full‑time). Interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with all Federal and State regulations, including Connecticut Birth to Three Program Regulations.
  • Develop rapport with children, families, and team members to promote a healthy learning environment.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing data.
  • Utilize coaching as a style of interaction and natural environment teaching.
  • Develop goals and objectives based on family needs and the child's assessment.
  • Train staff to ensure successful implementation of teaching techniques.
  • Administer competency‑based performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Provide research‑based strategies and literature to support families and team members.
  • Coordinate and facilitate quarterly team meetings.
  • Participate in Birth to Three sponsored trainings, meetings and learning opportunities as appropriate.
  • Assist with reviewing IFSP and related documents as requested.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and individuals we serve.
Qualifications
  • Must hold an active BCBA license issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • Confident in adapting to various learning styles to meet the needs of each child and their individualized treatment plan.
  • Knowledge of Early Start Denver Model and open to training in the implementation of ESDM strategies.
  • One year of experience working with children with Autism in early intervention.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license.
