Golden Steps ABA, LLC is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead and oversee ABA programming for clients. The role emphasizes data-driven treatment planning, supervision of RBTs, and collaboration with families and treatment teams.

• BCBA certification required or in progress within 1 month.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and ABA.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable car and driver's license for client visits.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful, evidenced-based, hierarchical programming based on data and progress assessments.
• Provide ongoing direct and indirect training and supervision to RBTs on the caseload.
• Provide family guidance necessary for programming success.
• Maintain timely, clear communication with the treatment team.
• Collaborate with external service providers as needed.
• Review data regularly and inform team of updates.
• Maintain professional BACB boundaries.
• Conduct initial intake and recurring assessments.
• Discharge and transition planning for clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

A Day in the Life:

• Develop meaningful, evidenced-based, hierarchical programming based on data, progress and the continued assessment of the client.
• Provide ongoing direct and indirect training and supervision to the RBT’s on patient caseload.
• Provide on-going direct and indirect family guidance that are necessary for programming success.
• Conduct consistent communication with all treatment team members.
• Participate in collaborative efforts with other service providers outside of Golden Steps.
• Review data on a timely basis and communicate when needed to team members.
• Maintain professional boundaries as indicated by the BACB.
• Perform comprehensive initial intake and perform recurring assessments.
• Discharge and Transition Planning for children on your caseload.
• Other tasks as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or sitting for your BCBA exam within one month.
• LBA (if applicable)
• Willing to have a background check

• Must have a reliable car and drivers license for commuting to the home of clients.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges with ABA.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
• Bending and squatting for up to an hour per day.
• Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend kneel, squat sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
