  • Coaching, consultation, and collaboration: Train caregivers, direct support professionals, BCaBA's, RBTs, and other stakeholders in effective behavior support strategies; observe program implementation; provide hands-on coaching and feedback; conduct intake assessments; and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and improve services.
  • Documentation and meetings: Complete timely assessments, reports, consultation notes, service logs, and other required documentation; provide face-to-face consultation; model interventions; review data; troubleshoot challenges; and lead behavior supports meetings, in-services, professional development workshops, and training.
  • Supervision and professional development: Supervise BCaBA, RBTs, and candidates pursuing BCBA certification in accordance with BACB requirements and the SSNY Cares supervision program; support the development of continuing education content that meets BACB ACE requirements; and represent SSNY Cares at designated professional and agency events.
