Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a BCBA to lead ABA programming and supervise RBTs in a clinic setting. You will conduct initial intakes, ongoing assessments, and discharge planning while guiding families for successful outcomes.

Strong communication skills and experience with developmental disabilities are essential. A valid driver's license and reliable car are required for commute to the clinic.

Qualifications

  • BCBA certification with BACB or sitting for BCBA exam within one month.
  • LBA certification if applicable.
  • Background check required.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication.
  • Must have reliable car and driver's license for commuting to the clinic.
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or ABA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful, evidence-based hierarchical programming based on data, progress, and client assessments.
  • Provide ongoing supervision to RBTs on the caseload.
  • Offer family guidance essential for program success.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the treatment team.
  • Collaborate with external service providers beyond Golden Steps.
  • Review data promptly and inform team as needed.
  • Maintain professional boundaries per BACB guidelines.
  • Conduct initial intake and recurring assessments.
  • Discharge and Transition Planning for clients on caseload.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Job description

  • Develop meaningful, evidenced-based, hierarchical programming based on data, progress and the continued assessment of the client.
  • Provide ongoing direct and indirect training and supervision to the RBT's on patient caseload.
  • Provide on-going direct and indirect family guidance that are necessary for programming success.
  • Conduct consistent communication with all treatment team members.
  • Participate in collaborative efforts with other service providers outside of Golden Steps.
  • Review data on a timely basis and communicate when needed to team members.
  • Maintain professional boundaries as indicated by the BACB.
  • Perform comprehensive initial intake and perform recurring assessments.
  • Discharge and Transition Planning for children on your caseload.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or sitting for your BCBA exam within one month.
  • LBA (if applicable)
  • Willing to have a background check
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication
  • Must have a reliable car and driver's license for commuting to and from the clinic.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges with ABA.
