Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide evidence-based behavioral services in a clinic setting. You will design programming, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with the treatment team to optimize client progress.

Responsibilities include intake, data collection and analysis, ongoing training for staff, family guidance, and discharge planning. The role requires strong communication, professional boundaries, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold BCBA or be within one month of sitting for the exam.
• Experience with ABA and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop hierarchical, data-driven programming based on client progress.
• Train and supervise RBTs with ongoing guidance to caseload.
• Provide family guidance necessary for program success.
• Communicate consistently with the treatment team.
• Review data regularly and coordinate with team members.
• Discharge and transition planning for children on caseload.
• Maintain professional boundaries as outlined by the BACB.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful, evidence-based, hierarchical programming based on data, progress and the continued assessment of the client
• Provide ongoing direct and indirect training and supervision to the RBT’s on patient caseload
• Provide ongoing direct and indirect family guidance that are necessary for programming success
• Conduct consistent communication with all treatment team members
• Participate in collaborative efforts with other service providers outside of Golden Steps
• Review data on a timely basis and communicate when needed to team members
• Maintain professional boundaries as indicated by the BACB
• Perform comprehensive initial intake and perform recurring assessments
• Discharge and Transition Planning for children on your caseload
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or sitting for your BCBA exam within one month
• LBA (if applicable)
• Willing to have a background check
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to and from the clinic
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges with ABA
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
• Bending and squatting for up to an hour per day
• Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
