Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Detroit seeks a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will supervise ABA Technicians, educate families, and develop tailored ABA plans for each child, aligning with intensive pediatric therapy goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration across ABA, OT, PT, Speech, and feeding specialists in a clinic setting with a focus on early intervention and functional outcomes.

Qualifications

  • BCBA certification through BACB.
  • Experience supervising clinicians and mentoring staff.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert supervision to ABA Technicians and ensure high-quality client care.
  • Train staff and parents on individualized IPOS and behavior treatment plans.
  • Develop skill acquisition programs and ABA-based behavior interventions.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to child’s evolving needs.
  • Maintain timely documentation including weekly supervision notes and data.
  • Conduct initial assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK) at intake and every six months.

Your Impact
  • Provide expert supervision and guidance to ABA Technicians, ensuring high-quality client care.
  • Train and educate staff members and parents on individualized IPOS and behavior treatment plans before service initiation.
  • Develop tailored skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to support each child's unique needs.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust behavior plans to align with the child’s progress and evolving needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including weekly supervision notes detailing progress, goals, and behavior data.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, etc.) at intake and every six months, documenting findings in the electronic medical record.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and training workshops to promote professional growth and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Current certification as a BCBA through the BACB.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Experience managing clinical staff and mentoring supervisory level clinicians.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Active & Engaged Work – Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.
  • Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
  • Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
  • Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.
  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Schedule
  • Your day-to-day schedule will vary by clinic and client needs, generally 8 am - 4 pm, 9 am - 5 pm, or 10 am - 6 pm. No evenings!
Compensation
  • After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.
  • Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
