Job summary

North Shore Pediatric Therapy is seeking a BCBA to supervise RBTs, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, and co-treat with a multidisciplinary team to support children with autism. You will run assessments, guide families, and ensure data-driven decisions across cases.

The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health professionals, with a path for advancement and ongoing in-house CEUs.

You'll co-treat live with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers on the same cases, which is the fastest clinical learning most BCBAs ever get. And advancement is a defined path, not a someday. We don't just say a child is improving; we measure it and make it visible. Our STEP Score and family Report Cards turn "is this working?" into a clear, shared answer, so your clinical decisions are backed by data and families see real movement instead of vague reassurance.

One child, one plan, many minds.

BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers work the same cases, often co-treating, so a child's plan reflects the whole picture, not parallel services that never speak.

A real bridge to the classroom.

Our half-day Prep School supports children working toward a traditional classroom who still need 1:1 support. Your clinical work connects to a concrete next step in a child's life, inside a model most providers simply don't have.

Caseloads and supervision built for the actual work.

6–8 clients per BCBA. 16–20% supervision time, built into the week, not a target, the real structure. Scheduling, billing, and authorizations sit with the teams whose job that is, so your time goes where your expertise is.

How your schedule actually works.

Full-time, part‑time, or reduced schedule, built around your life. A midday appointment doesn't cost you PTO; you work around it.

What you'll do

• Supervise your RBTs and oversee clinical quality
• Write and monitor individualized, assent-based, neuro‑affirming treatment plans
• Run your own assessments and intakes. Your assessment, your plan, your client
• Mentor and train RBTs and newer BCBAs
• Partner with families and collaborate live with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers

What you'll work with

• Standardized assessments: ABLLS‑R, VB‑MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, Vineland
• FBAs and BIPs built around the child
• Skill‑acquisition programming across communication, social, adaptive, and academic domains
• The Care Calculator and our outcome‑measurement tools (STEP Score, Report Cards)
• Parent and caregiver training as a core part of every plan

What you bring

• BCBA certification, licensed in IL and in good standing
• Strong clinical judgment and clear, proactive communication
• Genuine commitment to children and families navigating autism and developmental needs
• Ability to perform essential functions such as sitting, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 45 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
