Job summary

Arches ABA Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients and families in our Louisiana clinic. The role centers on coordinating ABA strategies, supervising technicians, and designing individualized programs for children with Autism in a nurturing team environment.

We value dedication and compassion, offer a relatively small caseload of 8–9 clients, and provide ample opportunity for parent training and meaningful supervision hours while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in a related field required.
  • Current BCBA certification from BACB required.
  • Current Louisiana LBA license required.
  • Completed BACB approved 8-hour supervision training.
  • 3+ years practicing as BCBA required.
  • CPR and BLS certification to be obtained (employer provides).
  • Valid driver's license with insurance coverage.
  • Passion and patience for working with young children.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, time management and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee implementation of ABA strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct skills and behavior assessments to design individualized treatment programs.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training of behavior technicians.
  • Consult with parents/guardians to ensure carryover of treatment plans at home.
  • Collaborate with families and clinicians to promote independence and communication.

About the Role

BCBA provides support to clients, families, and behavior technicians by coordinating and overseeing the implementation of ABA strategies and procedures. BCBA conducts skills and behavior assessments in order to design and maintain effective, meaningful, and individualized treatment programs for children diagnosed with Autism. BCBA provides ongoing supervision and training of behavior technicians as it relates to the delivery of ABA services in a clinical setting and consults with parents/guardians to ensure the carryover of treatment plans in the client’s home/natural environment.

About You
  • Master's or doctoral degree in related field required.
  • Current BCBA certification from Behavior Analyst Certification Board required.
  • Current LBA license from Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board required.
  • Completed BACB approved 8-hour supervision training.
  • 3 or more year s practicing as BCBA is required.
  • Obtain and maintain cer tification for CPR and BLS (to be provided by employer upon hire).
  • Possess a valid drivers license and provide proof of auto insurance.
  • Demonstrate passion and patience for working with young children.
  • Exhibit strong communication, collaboration, time management, and supervision skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift and carry clients.
  • Must be able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to maintain a variety of stances (stand, kneel, crawl, squat) for a extended period of time.
  • Must be able to run for short distances.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must demonstrate the manual dexterity to type, use electronic devices, and manipulate small items such as toys.
  • Must have the visual acuity to read and comprehend written and electronic communication.
