Stellar Stream Solutions in Los Angeles is seeking a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) to lead assessments, develop ITPs, and supervise RBTs across multiple settings.

Qualifications

  • BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB (Required).
  • Master's degree or higher in ABA, psychology, special education, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience conducting FBAs, writing ABA treatment plans, and supervising RBTs.
  • California driver's license and auto insurance for home visits.
  • Pass background check (LiveScan) and health screenings (TB, vaccines).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBAs and VB-MAPP assessments; draft individual treatment plans.
  • Oversee and mentor RBTs and Behavior Technicians in ABA programs.
  • Lead monthly parent training; collaborate with families for skill generalization.
  • Monitor progress with electronic data; adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain compliant documentation per payor requirements and BACB ethics.
  • Coordinate with SLPs, OTs, schools, and pediatricians when needed.

Are you a passionate, compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across the Greater Los Angeles area?

We are a clinician-led Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) organization expanding our footprint in Los Angeles. We are actively seeking Full-Time and Part-Time BCBAs to join our team for an start date in Mid-to-End August 2026.

In this role, you will lead individualized treatment plans, conduct initial and ongoing behavioral assessments, provide parent/caregiver guidance, and supervise dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). We prioritize realistic billable expectations to protect our clinicians against burnout, offering robust administrative support so you can focus on quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Assessment & Programming: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), Vineland, ABLLS-R, AFLS, or VB-MAPP assessments, and draft individual treatment plans (ITPs).
  • Supervision & Support: Oversee and mentor RBTs and Behavior Technicians in implementing individualized ABA programs.
  • Family Collaboration: Facilitate monthly parent training sessions and collaborate with families to ensure generalization of skills.
  • Data-Driven Progress: Monitor client progress using electronic data collection systems and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain clear, compliant, and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, re-authorizations, treatment plans) in accordance with insurance payor requirements and BACB ethical guidelines.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, school teams, and pediatricians as necessary.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications
  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB (Required).
  • Education: Master’s degree or Higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (Required).
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience conducting FBAs, writing ABA treatment plans, and supervising RBTs preferred (New BCBAs and those taking the exam prior to August 2026 are welcome to apply).
  • Location & Mobility: Reliable transportation, valid California Driver’s License, and active auto insurance (Required for home/community visits).
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check (LiveScan) and health screenings (TB test, immunization verification).
Skills
  • Strong expertise in developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and positive behavior support interventions.
  • Proficient in electronic data collection software (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst, or Motivity).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (Bilingual skills in Spanish or Korean are a strong plus in the LA area).
Schedule & Work Location
  • Schedule:
    • Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week (Flexible scheduling options available)
    • Part-Time: Minimum 10–15 hours per week
  • Work Location:
    • Multiple settings throughout Los Angeles County (In-Clinic, Client Homes, Schools, or Community)
    • Hybrid options available for administrative work, report writing, and telehealth parent training.
