Job summary

Applied ABC in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Clinic BCBA to manage caseloads, supervise therapists, and implement evidence-based behavior analytic interventions. The role requires leadership in training families and coordinating data-driven treatment plans.

The candidate must be a licensed BCBA with an active MD credential and experience supervising RBTs and BTs in school or clinic settings. Travel and in-person work are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst with MD licensure required.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field.
• Current 8-hour supervision certificate and RBT supervision experience.
• Experience creating behavior support plans and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload and meet 120 billable hours monthly including supervision and treatment planning.
• Supervise ABA therapists to ensure quality service delivery.
• Lead supervision using behavioral skills training techniques.
• Administer preference and reinforcer assessments in addition to skills assessments.
• Develop behavior support plans tailored to each client.
• Coordinate family training and explicit target setting for caregivers.
• Set up data collection systems and report progress in team meetings.
• Lead in crisis situations and adapt to policy updates.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus after 90-days (probationary period)

Location: Silver Springs, MD

Hours: Varies based on client schedule

Qualifications:

• Active Board certification - passed the BACB exam for behavior analysts
• MD LBA.
• Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis, education, or related field
• Current 8-hour supervision certificate - certified to provide supervision to RBT's and has supervisory experience. Experience utilizing behavioral skills training
• Experience creating behavior support plans
• Experience administering various skills assessments such as VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, etc
• Experience with creating treatment plans and conducting family training, social skills groups, etc
• Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, of all ages
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in the US
• Ability to relocate or travel to office location (in person required)

Position Description:

• Clinic BCBA will maintain an active caseload and meet 120 billable utilization hours per month which includes supervision, treatment planning, BTM (treatment planning with face-to-face component, Parent Training, etc. Travel is acknowledged, but not billable. (Up to 10 hours per week).
• Clinic BCBA will support their caseload by providing behavior analytic supervision to ABA therapists.
• BCBA may be providing supervision for BT's or RBT's working 1:1 with students, delivering evidence-based supervision techniques such as behavioral skills training.
• BCBA may not only need to administer skills assessments, but also preference, and reinforcer assessments.
• BCBA will provide programming to support the students to achieve their treatment goals.
• BCBA will be required to create behavior support plans, based on the clients' individual needs and behaviors.
• Additionally, considerations should be made for families and their level of experience, for family training sessions.
• Family training targets may need to be explicitly written and explained to those who have little to no experience working in the field of applied behavior analysis.
• BCBA will set up data collection systems and ensure ongoing and accurate data collection is occurring.
• BCBA will attend team meetings for coordination of care as requested by the family and be prepared to report on current levels of behaviors. BCBA must be comfortable leading others in behavior crisis situations, utilizing behavior analytic principles.
• BCBA will need to hold the ability to be flexible and accommodating for companies updates in changes to policies and procedures and work-related expectations.
• BCBA will uphold Applied ABC's core principles, of providing the best possible clinical techniques with a holistic and individualized approach to achieve ideal clinical outcomes.
