Job summary

Momentum Behavior Services is seeking a BCBA in Hermosa Beach to lead the clinical lifecycle from assessment to treatment and staff supervision. This full‑time role requires in‑person presence in a school environment and oversight of a defined caseload of learners.

You will supervise RBTs/BTs, implement function‑based interventions, and coordinate with families to support treatment fidelity and meaningful progress. Competitive salary with bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Own clinical outcomes for assigned caseload (28 billable hours/week).
• Maintain client progression, goal mastery, and discharge planning.
• Ensure authorized hours are used effectively.
• Conduct assessments including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Analyses.
• Develop individualized, function‑based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide ongoing supervision to RBTs/BTs per BACB requirements.
• Deliver coaching, modeling, and feedback in sessions to ensure fidelity.

Based out of our Hermosa Beach Clinic, this position is hands‑on and set in our Learners school environment, requiring consistent in‑person presence to support staff, model clinical skills, and maintain treatment fidelity.

Our BCBA's are responsible for the clinical oversight and outcomes of a defined caseload, ensuring high‑quality, ethical, and data‑driven ABA services. This role owns the full clinical lifecycle—from assessment through treatment implementation, staff supervision, and client progress.

HOURS: Full‑time

JOB SETTING: Monday - Friday (hours of operation 8:00am - 6:00pm)

SALARY: $92,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year, plus monthly BCBA bonus incentive, and a comprehensive Benefit Package which includes:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Own clinical outcomes for assigned caseload (28 billable hours/week)
• Maintain appropriate client progression, goal mastery, and discharge planning
• Ensure authorized hours are being effectively utilized
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including:
• Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
• Functional Analyses (as clinically appropriate)
• Develop individualized, function‑based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Ensure programming reflects medical necessity and payer requirements
• Provide direct oversight of high‑acuity cases and crisis scenarios
• Continuously analyze data to:
• Adjust interventions
• Fade supports appropriately
• Ensure meaningful progress
• Make real‑time clinical decisions in‑session when needed
• Provide ongoing supervision to RBTs/BTs in accordance with BACB requirements
• Deliver in‑the‑moment coaching, modeling, and feedback in sessions
• Treatment fidelity
• Proper prompting and reinforcement strategies
• Maintain audit‑ready records at all times
• Communicate regularly with caregivers, providing training and updates
