Compassionate ABA Advocate, Trauma-Informed Clinician

General Description

Provide supervision of client programs, progress, provide family treatment guidance and supervise and train behavior technicians in a home setting.

Essential Job Functions

• Conducts initial and recurrent assessments, writes treatment plan
• Creates behavior plans and updates as needed
• Attend trainings conducted by Little Victories ABA LLC
• Train and supervise behavior technicians, provide feedback as needed.
• Intervene on maladaptive behaviors according to a behavior plan
• Address goals, concerns and training needs with parents/caregivers
• Communicate with insurance for the continuation of care and authorization
• Creates and updates programs for daily sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, policies including HIPAA laws and regulation

Required Skills

• Strong verbal, written and communication skills
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to sit, crawl on knees/floor and able to run
• Familiar with VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R
• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs

Desired Skills

• CPR Certified

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check
• Must have a Board Certified Behavior Analyst license that is current and in good standing.
• Must hold a valid BCBA state licensure in Illinois

Work Status

• This is a full time hourly and shifts will typically be 2-6 hours in length

Travel

• 100% travel between clients home and required meetings
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of auto insurance
