Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health seeks a BCBA for El Paso, TX to supervise RBTs and deliver clinic-based ABA services. The role emphasizes adherence to BACB codes and ongoing credential maintenance, with direct supervision from a BCBA.

You will develop and implement individualized behavior programs, perform assessments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support families. Location is El Paso; standard hours are Monday–Friday daytime.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field required.
  • Board certification and in good standing as a BCaBA.
  • Must obtain and maintain current BCaBA licensure in Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinic-based ABA services to EBH patients as assigned.
  • Abide by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
  • Supervise implementation of treatment to ensure satisfactory implementation of protocols.
  • Maintain BCaBA certification by acquiring continuing education in BACB required categories.
  • Obtain and maintain state licensure.
  • Provide supervision to RBT level staff and supervise those pursuing certifications as applicable.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and parent questionnaires.
  • Develop and write individualized behavior acquisition programs for clients.
  • Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessments.
  • Write behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction targets.
  • Develop and write initial treatment plans in accordance with best practice and insurance guidelines.
  • Update client treatment plans as required by insurance companies and clinical best practice.
  • Implement and supervise data collection systems.
  • Provide behavioral support in interdisciplinary settings.
  • Graph and interpret behavioral data.
  • Adjust treatment protocol based on data.
  • Evaluate and report client progress toward treatment goals.
  • Monitor treatment integrity.
  • Develop and oversee transition and discharge plans.
  • Evaluate risk and crisis management.
  • Provide behavior support during interdisciplinary therapy sessions, doctors’ appointments, dentist visits, etc.
  • Conduct parent/caregiver trainings and community education trainings.
