The BY YOUR SIDE Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is responsible for assisting with evaluation, creation, and implementation of ABA therapy plans, accurate and reliable data collection, consultation, and training with family and staff. The BCaBA will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address all behavioral and skill acquisition needs of the clients.

The BCaBA is responsible for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions, read, analyze, and respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, and effectively present information to top management are essential.

The BCaBA operates in a professional and clinical environment with clinical responsibilities. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

This is a full-time position with hours varying based on client and business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

Core duties include:

• Ensuring standards for BCaBA to maintain high-quality care.
• Enforcing ethical standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Assisting with initial evaluations and therapy planning.
• Maintaining comprehensive therapy plans with goals and progress evaluations.
• Collaborating with staff and families for effective implementation and development.
• Preparing progress reports and coordinating parent meetings.
• Participating in professional development and representing BY YOUR SIDE at events.
• Maintaining current certifications and credentials.
• Contributing to program growth and participating in clinical support shifts.
• Documenting supervision and service hours accurately.

Skills Required

Including competencies and interpersonal skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Three hours of supervision-related continuing education per certification cycle.
• Completion of BACB Supervisor Training Curriculum.
• Passing BACB experience standards module.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with changing priorities remotely.
• Interest in working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Upholding BY YOUR SIDE’s core principles, policies, and procedures.
