Job summary

77 Consultants is seeking an Associate-level Anesthesiologist for an on-site full-time role in Portsmouth, OH. You will deliver anesthesia across general, regional, and local cases, conduct pre-operative evaluations, and monitor patients throughout procedures, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure safety and quality.

Requirements include MD/DO with an accredited residency, board certification or eligibility, and an unrestricted medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, airway management, and anesthesia techniques.
• Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethics, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assess patient risk factors.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as required.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout procedures.
• Manage airway, respiratory, and hemodynamic complications during surgery.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and oversee patient recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
