Job summary

Carthage System seeks a farm lab employee to coordinate a team in processing and packaging semen collections. The role includes documenting orders, setting up equipment, and maintaining sterile conditions to ensure safe doses for farms.

Responsibilities cover troubleshooting equipment, conducting quality checks, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with feeding and maintenance tasks as needed to support smooth nightly operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and package collections.
• Check for order changes and update the daily order log.
• Set up equipment and supplies needed to process and package collections.
• Clean and sanitize machines and components after the shift.
• Write order slips for delivery drivers with farm name, date, genetic line, and doses.
• Record and track doses and pig entries to keep accurate inventory.
• Troubleshoot equipment so production stays on track.
• Perform quality checks on batches for motility, concentration, and contamination.
• Maintain general cleanliness across the farm and work areas.
• Inform management when supplies run low so orders can be placed.
• Assist with feeding by refilling feed boxes and ensuring a weekend/holiday schedule.
• Assist in other areas as needed and with routine maintenance tasks.
