BMW Automotive Technician A & B Level - Up to 5K Sign on Bonus

A & B Level Techs, earn a 5K sign-on bonus! Rallye BMW, Long Island's premier BMW dealership, has immediate opportunities for Experienced A & B Level Technicians! We are seeking motivated, reliable individuals with automotive technician experience who value teamwork and delivering top-tier customer service. Technicians diagnose problems and perform repairs efficiently and accurately while collaborating with the service team to meet high standards.

(INTERNAL EMPLOYEE BONUS OF $2,500 PER HIRED REFERRAL)

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform work as described on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to BMW factory and Rallye BMW standards.
2. Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and recommend or perform appropriate repairs.
3. Identify additional repair or maintenance needs not listed on the repair order and communicate these to service advisors.
4. Coordinate with Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
5. Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work on the repair order is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed as scheduled.
6. Document all work performed clearly and accurately.
7. Road test vehicles as needed or refer to inspection technicians.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid and clean New York State Driver's License
• NYS inspectors license required
• Previous BMW technician experience preferred; automotive technician experience required
• Basic mechanical skills and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of shop equipment including wheel and tire tools, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, etc.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to read and understand instructions and technical information
