Compensation (Hourly):
The Apprentice Technician is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair work under the guidance of a BMW Master Technician Mentor in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
This is a structured, full-time training role designed for recent graduates of accredited automotive programs who are committed to building a long-term career as a BMW Certified Technician.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Work alongside an assigned Master Technician Mentor to learn diagnostic and repair procedures according to BMW factory standards
• Perform basic maintenance and light repair work as outlined on repair orders
• Assist in identifying causes of mechanical issues and develop diagnostic accuracy under supervision
• Follow all dealership processes and safety protocols
• Examine vehicles for potential additional service needs and communicate findings to the Mentor
• Complete BMW online and in-person brand training modules as part of the apprenticeship curriculum
• Demonstrate consistent progress and professionalism to advance toward BMW certification
Strongly Preferred:
• Completion of a BMW-specific training program, such as BMW STEP or BMW FastTrack
